Welcome to my online portfolio. Below is a humble sample of my work.

All of the software below is available as source code. Most of it is licensed under a BSD style license; hence, no warranty.

Software Development

• BPF Assembler
  The BPF Assembler is a program that eases the writing of packet filtering code using the BPF filtering machine (see the manual page for libpcap or bpf). This tool can be used in conjunction with libpcap to create programs that filter and analyze network traffic.

  The current release is 0.9.

System Administration

• access
  The access program is a command line utility that determines if the current effective user ID has the specified access to the files given on the command line. It is useful for verifying security policies or determining if a user is able to access files or directories to which he or she should be denied access.

• symcheck
  The symcheck program is a utility that finds broken symbolic links. It is useful for system administrators who aren't using Plan 9.

Shell Script Tools

• topscreen
  The topscreen command prints a banner at the top of the screen and then executes a command. Output from the command does not scroll the banner off the screen. This utility is useful for creating nice looking installation scripts.

Miscellaneous Tools

• bindcmd
  The bindcmd program is a small server that executes a given command line upon receiving a connection. The executed program receives standard input and output from the TCP connection.

  The bindcmd program is useful for situations when an arbitrary command needs to be plugged into a server. It is also useful for debugging client network code.
